Overview
A portfolio for Mahavir Makwana, a Mobile Team Lead with roughly 13 years in mobile app development across Objective-C, Swift, SwiftUI, Flutter, and React Native, currently leading a mobile team. The site presents his stats (13+ years shipping mobile, 20+ apps shipped live, 10+ developers mentored), a categorised skills matrix, and a full experience timeline, aimed at recruiters and clients evaluating him for senior mobile leadership roles.
Why it was built
Client project: a personal portfolio for a Mobile Team Lead, built as a professional presence for recruiters and prospective clients to verify his mobile leadership track record beyond a static resume PDF.
Downloadable Resume PDF
A resume button links directly to a bundled PDF so recruiters can grab a shareable copy in one click without navigating the site further.
Typewriter Hero Tagline
A typewriter hook animates the hero tagline character by character on load.
Mesh Gradient Background
A mesh-background component renders a soft animated gradient behind the hero and section transitions, giving the site visual depth without relying on imagery.
Tech Breakdown
A handful of static content pages (About, Projects, Skills & Experience, Contact) with no dynamic data needs, so static generation is the right fit.
Drives the fade-in reveal component used consistently across sections, and pairs with a marquee for an animated scroll of his stack.
Consistent icon set across stat cards, pill tags, and the skills matrix, tree-shaken so only the icons actually used ship in the bundle.
- 1
13 years of mobile experience across multiple platforms and companies needed to compress into a scannable timeline without losing the specifics (Objective-C to SwiftUI to Flutter) that actually differentiate a senior mobile lead from a generalist.
- 2
The typewriter hero effect had to degrade gracefully so the full tagline is still present in the DOM for SEO and for users with JavaScript disabled, rather than being purely an animation-only string.
A projects page with real shipped-app case studies (App Store/Play Store links, screenshots) would strengthen the site beyond the current text-based experience and skills sections.
