Overview

A portfolio for Vivek Kansara, a Full-Stack Web Developer with 7+ years of experience across PHP (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Core PHP), Node.js, and React.js. The site walks through his real project history by category: ERP modules, a CRM for centralised lead management, and a CRM for property-damage claims, alongside his availability status and work preference, since the site was built while he was between roles and actively looking.

Why it was built

Client project: a personal portfolio for a full-stack developer actively job-searching, needing a site that could stand in for a traditional resume and demonstrate range across ERP, CRM, and real estate domain work to prospective employers.

Categorised Project Grid

Each project on the projects grid carries a category tag (ERP, CRM, Real Estate) and role/duration, so a recruiter scanning quickly can see domain breadth rather than reading every bullet.

Resume + ID Photo

Both a downloadable resume PDF and a professional ID-style photo are bundled with the project, used for the profile photo component and resume download rather than a generic placeholder avatar.

Contact Form + WhatsApp

A contact form sits alongside a floating WhatsApp button, giving visitors both an async and an immediate contact path.

Tech Breakdown

Next.js 16 App Router

A handful of static routes (About, Contact, Projects, Skills/Experience) with no backend data needs; static generation keeps hosting and maintenance to zero.

Motion (Framer Motion)

Drives fade-in section reveals and a scrolling tech-stack marquee, consistent with the shared component pattern across this batch of portfolios.

lucide-react

Icon set for stat cards, pill tags, and the skills breakdown, matching the visual language used on the sibling portfolio builds.

Challenges
  • 1

7+ years across two very different stacks (legacy PHP/CodeIgniter work and modern Node/React work) needed grouping that reads as versatility rather than as an unfocused resume.

  • 2

The WhatsApp number in the data file is a placeholder pending the real contact number, a small but easy-to-miss gap that needs fixing before the site is shared widely.

What's Next

Swap in the real WhatsApp number and add a couple of live project links or screenshots to back up the ERP and CRM case studies with visual proof.
